Review of: Present Danger by Elizabeth Goddard

Wowza!!! This romantic suspense novel has it all: non-stop action, intrigue and mystery galore, a hunky hero, admirable heroine, and a story where past and present collide! This is the first in a new series, and I will be waiting with baited breath for the next installment! What was especially interesting about this story (besides the great pace, characters, and plotting), was that it includes information about a topic I had no idea about - illegal trafficking of archeological artifacts. The author did a beautiful job of keeping the book focused on the mystery and romance, while including elements about a fascinating subject most people aren't aware of. I really liked the setting as well and learned a lot about the management of natural resources and investigations of crimes that take place in national parks. I think this is the first book I've read by this author, and it definitely won't be the last! 5 stars!
